This series is inspired by the idea and the visual exploration of how a ‘being’ could adapt in response to the absence of a crucial element in it’s universe, providing a unique and fantastical twist to the concept of adaptation.

The concept of an essential missing element provides a creative exploration of how ‘beings’ might adapt and evolve in response to unforeseen changes in their environment.

To cope with the absence of an element there occur visual morphological adaptations that not only allows the being to survive in their transformed environment but also opens up new possibilities for their interaction with the world.
